This was my first time watching fights at a Park, Cici and I sat on the field, couple rows back from Ringside. It kinda sucked at times, because when the fighters were on down on the mat, you couldn't see. So the next fights at the park I will either sit ringside, or bleachers for the best seats. This time Virgil was not the announcer, but TAM took on alot of responsibility.

The second fight was heavy weights, and it was a TKO the first round. The other two good fights were from Team Alpha Male. The Co Event was Walter Patterson he won by split decision. Main Event was Kyacey"Ice Cold"Uscola he won by TKO first round. I ran into alot of people including Ricardo and Felix.

The after party was at the Happy Viking. I wasnt impressed with the spot, the lines and the wait for drinks was long, at one point they had to was cups and pitchers. Come on they only had three bartenders, they no it was gonna be busy. so why not be prepared for the crowd. :mad:. ? But overall it was fun. I will post pictures soon.

The gym was cracking, everyone was pretty chill just kicking back conversating Master Thong was over 5lbs,he happily did a little dance when he dropped it all. It was interesting to see some of the fighters loose the weight or gain it. For example, one of the youngest fighters 18 needed to gain 2lbs, so he drank 2 16oz water bottles.

The day of the event, I got to met Chainsawtom, him at Cici and her hubby sat ringside. I sat on the opposite side with my husband, where Danny"Last Call" was guarding the Vip section and a perfect view of the beautiful ring girls. My husband enjoyed convesating with danny, and the other fighters who were taking turns guarding the section. There was 12 fights total, 2 of them where girls fights. They both were from Ultimate Fitness, unfortunately the both lost. The majority of the fights expect two where all fighters from Ultimate Fitness. Jermomy Fritag a trainer at Ultimate Fitness was the co-event. He lost in the first round, it was the most b.s call ever. The whole place was screaming at the ref, At last Master Thong came out the whole place was cheering while he did his Muay Thai dance. Unfortunately the people behind me where not Mt fans, they had the litter bickering, so I just screamed louder for him lol. The first 3 rounds Mt was just messing around playing, making a show for the crowd. The 4th and 5th he got a little more serious, but wasnt fully giving it all that he could. So he only got 1 of 3 judges decision, and lost :eek:. But the fans were still cheering him on. It was disappointing, but overall I enjoyed the fights.

The after Party was at The Park. It was fun we really didnt do much dancing just talked with People. I had a great time haning out with Cici and meeting Chainsawtom, hopefully I will get to meet some other ppl here on the fourms. Well that sums it all up, Ill post pics up in my albulm.

Sorry guys! Ill just fill in whats been going on. Team Alpha Male has been extremely active, a bunch of the guys have been fighting ( and doing really well). Scott Mcafee just fought in the PFC tonight. We have also been working on filming a sizzle reel for the reality show, it was really hard getting all the guys coordinated with all the busy scheduleling. The producers did a great job though a ton of filming for just a few minutes. Im one of the only people that got to see the finished product, and it was hilarious. We have also been working on getting Alpha Male clothing going, its been coming along well tommy has been keeping the bolk of that going. Should have some cool gear by fight time. The guys that did my myspace Kalikwest media group have helped me do a twitter account, which makes it easy to send out little messages from my phone. So check me out there. Twitter.com @urijahfaber. I'm kinda a scatterbrain, but this is easy enough. They are also revamping my site, and helping develop Alpha Male clothing site.
My training has been going great, and i can't wait for the fight. Its a month away now and Im feeling good. Ive added a late night work out in a couple days a week to get some more power in my legs and to put on a few lbs. If you follow me on twitter then you probly have seen some random pics of me and Big Virg. Virg has designed my work out program. This is the biggest and strongest that I've ever been.
The Boys on the block have been all biz lately, so thats probly why there hasn't been much communication, we still appreciate and love all you tuneing in. So please know that we are taking care of Biz and trying to progress. Ill be checking in, hope to see you folks at the fight.

After shocking the world last November with a first round technical knockout of then-champion Faber, Brown has cemented himself as one of the toughest fighters in the sport. In his last fight in March, the American Top Team-trained Brown steamrolled highly-regarded challenger Leonard Garcia, dropping the Texas native with menacing strikes before submitting him in just under two minutes. That win, coupled with victories over Faber and perennial contender Jeff Curran, has Brown riding a nine-fight winning streak. Now, the Maine-born Brown looks to prove that his win over Faber had nothing to do with luck.

“There will always be people that say stuff like that,” Brown said in reference to thoughts that his win over Faber was a fluke. “I think with the Garcia fight I proved that I was no joke. I’ve fought a long time and a lot of good guys. So it’s not a new thing that I’m fighting at this level. This is an important fight. He’s in a tough spot because if he loses, where does he go from there?”

One of the most dominant champions in WEC® history, Sacramento’s Faber (22-2) is more determined than ever to reclaim the featherweight title. After dropping the title to Brown, Faber doled out one of the finest performances of his career in his next bout in January, submitting Jens Pulver in one minute and 34 seconds. The 29-year-old star now turns his attention to Brown, and more importantly, showing the world that he is still the best 145-pound fighter in the world.

“I’m really excited to get this title shot,” Faber said. “I had the belt for a long time and I’m eager to get some redemption. I think the biggest thing is I have to be a little more careful. The last time I got caught for being careless. I sort of live by the sword and die by the sword. He’s one of the best fighters in the world, so I need to be on my game and not his game and not make mistakes.”

Pitting the top two 145-pounders in the world against one another, Brown vs. Faber II is without question, the biggest featherweight fight in MMA history. Given that neither fighter has a glaring weakness, fans at the Arco Arena will witness firsthand the crowning of the sport’s best featherweight. Both fighters understand the magnitude of the event and are training hard to rule the 145-pound throne.

“I want big fights and this is a big one,” Brown said. “He’s still one of the best guys in the weight class and it’s what the fans want to see, so I’m down.”

“I’m not a big planner when I get in there and fight,” Faber said. “But he’s a tough fighter and I’m training hard for this. I want my belt back.”

My meet and greet was awsome, my daughter and I along with someothers got to visit.. During the visit I mentioned to Urijah that I forget my sharpie to have him sign my Pose T-shirt well low and behold we met up at the fihgt an even witht the 1000 people there he rememberd me came over and signed my t-shirt =What a hunk.. Let me tell you the guy is great! Here are some pictures.. While sitting in our floor seats in front row, we got to visti with the announcer, Jens Pulver, Miguel Luis Torres, and the Zuffa promoter Mr Elias, who by the way is very cool dude..he gave me his VIP pass at the end of the event, for a fight fan this was a great experience. My friend Mike F. partied with him a the Reserve on Friday night and Satruday at Area, I was going to go but didn't want to ruin my special meet and greet. He was availbe all over town.. You'll only see pix of Uirjah and some of the Main event. I'm having trouble with the other pix.
