Faber Coming to DC area October 11

Faber is going to be a special guest at a UWC fight Oct 11 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA just minutes from down town DC. I am so amped for this. Here is the link so you can see for yourself.

I live a little too far to attend that fight. And I'd love to get a VIP ticket but 250 is a bit rich for my blood. Although if Urijah ever has a match up here in Indy and I know about it soon enough, I'll definately be saving up.

Faber will be at the UWC fight before the fight , this is yet to be confirmed, but it is being said he will be doing autographs from 4pm to 6pm. I hope this gets confirmed.

I was planing on going before but if Urijah is gonna be at the pre-fight party then I'm gonna get the VIP package. Let me know if you can confirm? I gotta get rooms-you got the line on which hotel to stay at?

I am not sure where to stay. Would could stay at the official hotel of the fight (http://www.fairlakes.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/group-booking.jsp?_requestid=170149). Hey, I just won VIP tickets last night. I am pretty sure that he will be there. But you are right, there is always that chance. If you do not end up getting VIP, I can always try to swing some how getting you in. I am sure if I told Faber another board member was here, he would make an effort to see you. We will have to exchange info closer to the fight.

I am originally from Sacramento (born and raised) and I am currently stationed out here in Virginia. I would love to go there and have the opportunity to meet The California Kid! I already got tickets for his fight on the 5th on Nov. Can't Wait!

I just ordered my VIP tickets the other day and I have a comfirmation email informing me they are in the mail. So I will be there for sure! I can't wait to see the Cali Kid! Should be a fun event...

For some reason your pics did not come out. Where did you sit? Did you get to sit on the floor or actual cage side beyond the barrier?

I was able to sit on the floor, and also make it inside the barrier for the second Urijah photo. I also have one of him and one of my teammates, Ryan Hall. I'll go ahead and post more pics from the event.
