The cold weather and I do not agree. I don't see how you can stand it. Give me heat and humidity.

I've done hot and humid. Give me cool and dry any day.
Oh, and Droolie, not all west coast kids enjoy fun and sun 24/7. Here in Washington State we are set for rain, cold, and possible snow until May or June. :(

Got that right droolie. Lived in the northeast most of my life. Summers are great - except when it feels like Florida. Used to actually like winters but now... grrrrrr!
California dreaming. Yep.

I experienced my first real winter back in 1999 when I was living in Chicago. I was not ready for that kind of cold. Then I went to visit my dad in Massachusetts in Jan of 2004, very big mistake. I don't see how you New Englanders can stand it.
Hmmmmm cold weather and snow or earthquakes, drought, and wildfires. I rather be in Pennsylvania :D

It is freezing cold here today and the wind is going nuts. We moved here from Wyoming, so I'm not complaining too much. I know it could be MUCH worse!

Sacramento has moderately cold weather, no snow, no earthquakes, no droughts, no wildfires and I'm still moving when I finish my engineering degree.

I drove through Sacramento when I moved to Seattle from Georgia and it was in the winter time. Overall, it didn't seem bad weather wise.
Here in the Seattle area we have rain, rain, rain, sun, rain, wind, rain, snow, oh, did I mention rain??? :p Overall, it's beautiful here and I'm glad I live here. :)

But what about the rain?
Have a sister in Port Townsend. Your Pacific Northwest is a great place.

I dig the Bay Area. Cashy though. Maybe something north. Whats the scoop on Arcata?

I know where that is! You're right, it is great here, which is why I bought a house here. I'm 30 minutes from the mountains and 20 minutes from the city (excluding traffic). Can't beat that.

I lived in Atlanta for a little, and I LOVED it.
Its just so cold and miserable and gray and the wind burns. Plus having to scrape all the ice off my car windows and black ice on the roads. Its all just so unnecessary to me!
I live a mile above sea level....
ive gotten used to snow

Don't get me started on snow! Although I luv it and all the activity it brings! Just don't luv the bad road conditions we deal with...

To hell with snow! Give me heat and humidity all day everyday.
Same here Tobias. I used to live in Chicago, that is the one thing I do not miss about that place. It would get so cold it felt like your face was cracking! Insane. In TX we don't get snow ever really. Thank the Lord!
