PaperView in 2009?!

Ok so maybe someone can help me cuz I have looked and Im gettin conflicting reports... is the WEC going to go Pay per view in 2009? Cuz if they are then Im bout to start saving up.:D

That's been the rumor for a little while now...

I guess part of it has to do with them going under the Zuffa Family umbrella.

I'd really like to see a few events stay free...

All of their cards will not be on Pay-Per-View. Rumors going around are that the first one will be in March - but it all depends on who wins coming up because the WEC wants to make sure they have a really good card for their first Pay-Per-View.

Example - if some of their big-name guys lose then they don't want to have a main event headlined by fighters that the average person has never heard of

Make sense. No names aren't going to bring in the money. Do you think, if all goes as planned, Urijah's rematch with Brown will be PPV? And, if so, does that jack up the prices of tickets for the event?

Thats all rumored I think a lot of it depends on the outcome of the December fights and January fights... The winners, the popularity of the winners and who they think people will actually pay to see.
