I'm looking forward to it. I was surprised that Felix found me lurking on sherdog. I don't usually post in their MMA section anymore because it is full of idiots who don't know a thing about the sport other than what they heard from Joe Rogan.

Yeah I am fairly new to the whole MMA thing but people on here are knowledgable and I am learning more. Love it on here!!

There is nothing wrong with being new, it's that on sherdog people try to make asses of themselves and succeed with ease. No one on the last forum that Felix was the Admin for was silly like those guys. We had a really good group and I can already see that the same can be said about this forum.

well, during the registration process, theres a question in there that a "bot" most likely can't answer, its a human thought question (1+1), so that will help eliminate alot of spambot registrations

there's also a "no spam" mod that's gonna go in as well, another thing at registration to help keep out automated spambot registrations

then, there's a MUCH easier & streamlined way to delete posts & ban users on this version of forum software - much easier than the last one were were using at the old board :)

Tobias, I am familiar with Sherdog. A friend of mine is (or was) a moderator over there. The only time I went on there was to get advice from other martial artists after I tore my ACL. In that aspect, they were very helpful. Never really lurked around anywhere else on there.

I'm sure I will. I doubt you make an ass of yourself on purpose. There is nothing wrong with asking questions and having great threads about fighters we know and don't know. And having angry elf(Faber) post here is also a great thing to have.

The only place I post on Sherdog now is the K-1/kickboxing section. The MMA section is overrun with idiots. I do agree that you can get great info from there though if you ask in the right forum.
