AMA if there is one thing I've noticed it's most of the WEC fights are on Wednesdays and January 11 is a Sunday (I think). Yes, I've already looked into airline prices. :D If all goes as planned, I will be there.

Too cute AMA. Five is a fun age, just wait until he's 16! Tonight was sparring night and, yes, I have to spar with Cody. He was relentless. He does not care that I'm his mother when we are in class. It's like he's thinking "oh, her, she's just another student. I'm gonna kick her ass." And he does. Secretly though, I'm proud of him. :D

A little advice for you ladies, actually for everyone who plans to go- We should put someone in charge of buying all the tickets at once and pay them in advance. That way we could all sit together cuz otherwise we will be scattered around everywhere... Well - I know everyone wants to go to the SD show - but if you can't then consider this:

There is a RUMOR going around that Urijah will headline WEC's first pay-per-view live from Sacramento in the Spring or early summer.
If everything goes well - it will be to regain his title.
Again - this is only in the early stages and it is contingent on Urijah getting a win in Jan.

Trust me, from experience - the Sacramento show was amazing and if you are going to make it to one show - I think it might be a better idea to wait until he gets a title shot in his hometown. The atmosphere in that place for the Jens fight was unlike anything I have seen.

Figured I would post some pics from the WEC in Sacramento
Most of the ones I have are pre-fight where Urijah went out to talk to some fans who won a "meet and greet." - You can tell Urijah is focused though - not his normal smile - and he was trying to watch his boy Charlie Velencia fight (it was going on at the same time)
and side note - how many champs would go meet some fans 45min before his fight?

I was behind the camera for the radio station for most of these - but i stuck my head in behind him on one of them - you can see me peaking over

I got one of Chuck checking out the fight and one when they were announcing Urijah - but thats about it
