Haha, nice one. I can actually imagine Urijah getting onto cereal boxes.
yup, mma gonna get big, which kinda good kinda sucks, i like being the only friend in my group that can actually fight haha.
plus now you gonna get those annoying tiny kids decked out with tapout gear ALL THE TIME

I don't know if I agree on that one. Kids at my school are already decked out with Tapout gear. I wish more kids WOULD get into it (besides UFC fighters at least.) I actually met two pretty good friends of mine because I went up and started talking about that night's match (assuming they knew about it because of their Tapout shirts). Now I talk to them about MMA literally ALL the time. I learn about most of the fighters because of them.
Plus, what's wrong with kids learning how to fight besides you, lol? You'll have more sparring partners. That's always a plus. One of my friends goes to a gym and trains so it's really cool to show him what I know. We don't throw punches though, we're just softies at heart lol
would be cool if life were like a bruce lee movie haha.
you wanna settle something, everyone knows kung-fu!
would be tight

would be tightLol, I sometimes wish ancient kung-fu was still around so I could go learn the Praying Mantis Technique. There's a gym down the street from where I live but I didn't think it would do me any good to sign up because now-a-days I don't think kung-fu like that is going to help you much in a fight any more. That's why Bruce Lee made Jeet Kune Do. Ha, I feel you Tap, I know what it's like to be a Bruce Lee junkie
oh god i still watch his movies like once every 2 days haha. i watch when i do homework, cause at least then i will sit down, but then i get distracted BAH
but you know he didnt wanna name it jeet kune do. i guess he said he didnt want it to be just another form of karate or somethin like that
and i think its great that in his movies he's
1. snapped jackie chans neck (and they said jackie chan was a "stunt double" psshhhh)
2. KICKED CHUCK NORRIS BUTT

He didn't want to give people the misconception that it was a form of karate, yes. Really it's not a form. It's sort of like MMA in a way. It's adjusting yourself to be able to handle any kind of situation if you get put into a fight. I could go on and on about Lee. He was so amazing. My favorite quote is "boards don't hit back" from enter the dragon.

It's great to see the younger generation still appreciates the talents of Bruce Lee. I was wearing my Bruce Lee t-shirt a few weeks ago and the clerk at the store asked me who he was. I was flabbergasted. Hello!! How can you NOT know who he is. Plus, he's buried here in Seattle with Brandon. They are also working on building the Bruce Lee museum here. I hope it happens. Like you guys, I'm a huge Bruce Lee fanatic too. :D
Anyway, just had to give props to the two of you for being Bruce Lee fans.
oh god i hate that, i got a bruce lee shirt. IT SAYS BRUCE LEE ON IT, and everyone kept asking if it was jackie chan "is that the guy on rush hour" is that "the drunken master guy"
btw drunken master was hilarious. but besides the point
and i like that quote "boards dont hit back" enter the dragon is great. Jackie chan was an extra in that one. I like the guy on the boat , the brit. "whats your SHTYLE" haha

LOL...that's a great line in the movie. I got to finally see it on the big screen back in July at the Bruce Lee Fundraiser. It was great watching the movie with other fans, plus Linda and Shannon Lee, Bob Wall (O'Hara), and the producer. We got to hear stories about Bruce during the making of the movie too. You could hear everyone reciting lines from the movie during the movie. It was awesome.

It is not too far away in the next ten years I think most teens will know some form of MMA.

Dana White considers Bruce Lee to be the father of mixed martial arts. You get a hint of it in the fight between Bruce and Sammo Hung in Enter the Dragon.

I mean, Jeet kune Do was basically a mix of fighting styles to keep yourself out of trouble no matter what the situation called for. I never really thought about it before.
bruce lee is great, he has the fastest kicks, and punches i have ever seen. He was incredibly disciplined. He believed skill was important, but taking care of your body and physical conditioning was just as important

I think Faber is picking up where Bruce left off !! The dude has cat like instinct, his balance is unparralled and his speed is fastly approaching the legend's himself !!

I think they are both creative in the way they fight. Always figuring out a better way to do something. In some of the fights I've seen with Faber it's just insane the way he gets out of a situation. His creativity is incredible. Bruce was the same way...always learning, always bettering himself.
