Well, pending my ASVAB, MEP, and asthma test, I will be in the US Naval forces. This may not happen for a month or so, because I wanna prepare for PRT (if everything else goes well of course). I might just decide to pick up and go if I don't request for delayed deployment.

I had asthma as a kid, but haven't had any medication for at least 15 years for it, but they still needed to know. If I don't get accepted, that would be why. I'd be heartbroken, but oh well, life will go on. I meet with the recruiter tomorrow, and still need to pick up my transcripts and get a new social security card as well, so it'll be a few days.

I wanted to let you all know if you don't see me around, or hear any stories about me pissing the bed, or see me in any pictures or videos with Seth doing something stupid.

If I go, I want to wish everyone the best of luck in whatever they do. If I don't, I'll look forward to seeing you at a future fight.

I'll take this time to say it was a privlidge and an honor to meet those of you who I was able to, and for those of you who I've met on the forums as well. If I'm not around, you'll know why.

What job would you be taking in the Navy?
Do they tell you ahead of time? Good luck
in whatever happens. Can you pick a type
of job you would want?

If, they do let you in get ready to be in one of the most boring cities in America. Great Mistakes, I mean Great Lakes Il. I did some time in the Navy. Hated every minute of it. Not to discourage you but recruiters are the best trained lairs next to used car sales men and CIA agents. What did you score on the ASVAB and if you don't have your score yet, what did you score on the pre test. Most people don't increase decrease by much. Do you have any college credit? Did your recruiter tell you his stories about getting all the girls in Australia and Japan. (that is true :) ask me how i know) Other than that, The Navy will can fuck you over royally. I know about that too! Did they tell you that basic training was 8 weeks or 10 weeks? Are you going to have anything guaranteed in your contract? I hope you don't get sea sick. That shit is the WORST!!!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask this ex sailor.

Well, I need to get my body fat down to 22%, and after that I need to take an asthma test. I passed my practice ASVAB, so I'm certain I can pass the real one just fine.

To Brisby, I decided to finally make something of my life. Hundreds of thousands of people go through college to work the same boring job because they paid for it and are mad at their mistake of picking it. If I join the Navy, I pick whatever I want, and I will get the job I want. Maybe not right away, but eventually.

To Rosemary, Not sure what job I'll be doing yet, I'm more focused on getting in first. I'll also get to pick what I do.

To Shawn, Will do. When I get out of basic, I pick my schooling (for the most part) and I should be able to get internet and everything from there. I'm a long way from that just yet.

Tobias, I got a 60 on my pretest. Not bad considering I've been out of any kind of education for 5 years. I can do better, and will do better on the actual test. I haven't signed anything yet. They're looking for me to get to 22% first. Other than that, they didn't bullshit with me much. I'm old enough to be able to do my own research on forums and read everyones story. I'm also looking forward to the ladies in Australia. I love them..

I'll be here for a few months. Going to the gym twice a day to try and get that first goal down. It'll be a month or so before I take my asthma test and get that squared away. That will be the only reason if I don't make it in.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I'll need them.

I do plan on making it a career, but my plans could change.

I do have a ton of questions, I just need to figure out how to put it in my own words on paper haha.

Do you have some college education? I think
you can get some sort of title if you went
to college first. If you have a problem losing
the weight I think that the army will take you
if your weight is close because they say you
can lose it in boot camp really fast. I don't
know if you would want to try the army though.

No college. Navy is my only choice, and they will take me, they just don't know it yet.

How much weight would you have to lose?

Cory

Not an exact amount of weight, just have to be a certain body fat.

What do they do now a days to measure body weight.
I'd never would pass since I can carry no body weight
in the upper body but below the waist have 30%....that
was when I was younger and had it checked two different
ways.
