Hi All! My name is Holly and I am a huge fan of MMA and Urijah. I do competition canine weight pulling with American Pit Bull Terriers and show them and American Staffordshire Terriers. check out my strong dogs doing their things.....they are under the pit bull section on the site. Have held several world records in weight pulling. I have some of the best pound for pound dogs in the world. When I seen Urijah fight for the first time he reminded me of my pit bulls, relentless, confident and accurate! Thanks for a new love of a great sport Urijah!!;)

Thats Awesome, I have seen the dog pulls on tv and was so amazed!!! Will check out the link for sure!
I have draft horses that pull and I get a lump in my throat seeing them drop to their knees digging in and pulling so HARD just cause their hearts are so big and they love what they are doing!!!

Thanks for the comments! It is a very addicting sport and is mostly male dominated. I have been into weight pulling for 15 years now. The dogs love it and it will send chills up your spine watching a little 35-45 lber pulling over a 100 times their body weight! I have actually been flown out to San Fran Cali to judge a weight pull competition. Its very big out there now. All breeds compete but the bully breeds ROCK at it. the highest % one of my dogs have pulled has been 144%. (on rails of course)

I saw some of the husky breeds pull as well, and it was quite interesting to see the difference. They were bred for jerking a frozen to the ground dog sled to get it started, where as the bulldogs...they just dig in, lean their thick necks and shoulders into the harness and pull...very exciting to watch...and always amazes me the heart of them...and how they truly enjoy it!
