George St. Pierre........the winner!!!
George did it....he did it.....
Don't be jealous.....sorry for your lose.....God Rest in Peace :D
Couldn't be happier for GSP.
sorry for your lose? you mean Dan Hardy's loss?
We all knew GSP would win it but Dan held on for 5 rounds and didn't tap.
I'd say he made a bit of a name for himself in the 'determination' category.
Now GSP will have to go up and fight Silva.
The fans get bored with someone who can't be beaten.
Just my 2 cents.

I thought Hardy did pretty well considering he was way out classed. There wasn't anything he could do to GSP but he kept fighting and digging deep

Silva is a big guy he walks around at like 205, if gsp went up to fight him, it would be a huge uptaking. Georges played the ground game, his takedowns were effortless, one after the next. But hardy did put up an amazing fight, a lot of heart, i mean those two submission attempts were ridiculous, you gotta give the guy props, plus the intensity he came out with. Like GSP said, Hardy did alot better at his first belt fight, than gsp ever did. He's young, he'll be back.
As for GSP, yes we all know he's an elite athlete, a "freak" of nature some would say, they said he put alot of lean muscle mass on for this fight, you could tell, he looked light on his feet but his strength and conditioning was amazing.
I'm dissapointed he didnt finish it earlier, he left too much to chance. Hardy has knockout power, you don't want to chance that....
I was definitely impressed with Hardy.

:)Hardy said he will not be submitted. I think George would have had to broke his bones and the referee would have to stop it. Hardy was out classed but someday if he trains like GSP he can be much better. GSP had no problem taking Hardy down to the mat. It was an amazing fight. No one was bored with that fight.
When Urijah Faber wasn't beaten no on was bored with him either.

GSP did a great job of laying on top of Hardy for 25 minutes. It was a safe game plan because he knows he couldn't stand with him. He couldn't submit him, obviously, or KO him, or TKO him and his ground 'n pound was less than impressive. Yes, he won, but was it an impressive win? No, it wasn't. If I wasn't a fan before, I'm certainly not now. Maybe when he steps outside the "safe zone" I'll have a little more respect for him as a fighter.

Not everyone thought GSP would win. I won't name names but figure it out for yourself.

Hahaha, awesome!
I didn't think GSP would win. Anything can happen.
Did anyone think Urijah would get TKO'd by Mike Brown and lose his belt? Nay.

Urijah always has a chance of being TKO'd because he drops his hands so damn much lol

You never know if the sun is going to come up tomorrow, but I still plan on it anyway. I like the surprise of it all!
