Dang cable box booted 7 times today. It must be broken. Called the cable ppl and they are coming out tomorrow with a new DVR. This one better tape the fight with no mistakes. Friday we have to go to the anual B.W Farm Implement Co. stockholder dinner. It's ok since I know most everyone and mostly are related to me from Buttonwillow anyway. The rest are mostly ppl I grew up with and went to school with. We get Steak and Lobster this year. Drinks and food are free. My Dad has been giving me stock gradually through the years and I got the last of it through my inheritence. I couldn't afford to buy it since the price is way too high but the dividends are good.

I grew up watching the Lakers when most of the stars were very popular. Of course since we lived in the middle of no where there was no cable. We has 3 channels only. One had sports, one news, one soap operas or something else. I moved to a bigger city and now I have endless channels. I have to use my favorite button or I have to go through 100's of channels to get to the ones we like. The HD channels start at 1003. The picture is much cleared since we have digital, too. Recording on a DVR keeps the important shows that we like on anytime we want them. I tape what I like and what my husband likes. We rarely like the same things except the MMA fights are for both of us. We watch most everything with no commercial since we can fast forward them. TV is much more interesting now then when I was growing up!!

Who can image no cable. I can't believe I lived without it. About 10 years after I left home with my parents, they bought a huge satellite so they could watch more channels. That small town didn't offer much. I think the satelite was about 8-10 feet across. When you changed channels it would take forever to change channels. I hated it when I visited them. By then I was use to having good cable tv so their was no comparison. I never asked anyone out there if their is cable now out in the country where they lived. I loved to visit my parent though. They watched a lot of videos before they died. Theyed stay at the beach condo on and off for about 3/4 of the year near the end of their lives. Who could beat the weather that close to the ocean. All they had to do is look out their sliding glass door and they could see the ocean down the small hill. There's nothing better than fresh air coming from the ocean.

I think also Kobe Bryant bought her gifts to make him look good because he admits to adultery but not rape. It's a sad way to look good not a very respectable way to go. I think his wife should have left him but she problably loved him and was willing to forgive him. But I think most famous people aren't trustworthy and the best thing to do is divorce an unfaithful husband because I sure he did it more then once.
