I wanted to know if any of you guys have a training area at home (in your garage or a buddy's garage perhaps) and where you guys got your mats. I'm looking to convert my garage into a training room but I don't want to break the bank. Maybe you guys even have some homemade mat solutions? Thanks alot.

We have a finished basement that is dedicated with our gym equipment etc... - but on a section of the floor -we actually used those foam puzzle piece blocks that lock together - They are used a lot in kids play rooms - I forget their exact name tho - but its pretty colorful - or you can get all one solid color, make whatever size you want out of them - Mine our 12"x12" pieces. I think we got them on ebay and they weren't crazy money - They have enough thickness that it feels ok - and because they are rubbery they tend to stay in place and not move around on ya :)

I know a friend that uses those playroom-foam puzzle peices in his garage and they feel it. I actually went over to hsi place once, rolled for about 5 minutes, and then said "F this". Put it this way, it felt like scrapping on concreate with a cheap foam layer over the top of it.
Zebra Mats are king but cost a ton.
