Hey! I've been on this site for a little bit now but never really got around to saying hi! So....hi! I am new to the MMA world, but have become a huge fan. I was flipping through the channels one day about 6 months ago and happened to see some dude kicking someones ass. I've since learned that "some dude" was really Urijah Faber :) ha ha I've been hooked on this sport ever since. I still have alot to learn as far as the lingo and fighters, but the more I learn the more I love it.

How you doin? :DI was new to the YMCA gym at the Embarcadero in San Francisco, doing cardio on one of the recumbent bicycles there that have TV/ monitors on them, flipping thru the channels there and Versus was the first channel that I flipped to, which had some ass kicking going on. Who else got hooked on watching MMA, because they saw Urijah kicking ass with some seriously technical moves and in between or during these moves doing these damaging strikes? :)

Seems to be a theme going on here. I was at my parents house and my dad was watching a Urijah fight on tv. He called me to the den and said...you gotta see this little innocent looking surfer kid whoop some major ass! I've been a fan ever since.
