I'm not sure if that was the first time it was shown from the Faber vs. Pulver night. I couldn't find it online or anything and I wanted to see Brown fight. I saw some of his old fights but I wanted to see where (edit) he was now.

Brown is a legitimate competitor for Urijah but I just feel Urijah is way too well rounded for Brown to handle. In this fight it showed that Mike likes to drop his head and throw hard over hand punches that weren't too accurate or coordinated. After seeing Urijah outbox Jens, it shows how coordinated and powerful Urijah is in his standing game. So I don't see a threat there. Brown does have good take downs to due his strength and his showed that against Curran. But Urijah is just too quick to be put in a bad situation from a take down from Mike. When Brown got Curran to the ground he didn't attempt much of anything besides ground and pound, he over powered him and continuously attempted to pass the guard to gnp. I can't recall really any submission attempts. Urijah is too legit on the ground no matter if he has his back taken, is on his back, or (please pray for the opponent) if he is on top. In the end its going to be a great fight and I can't wait for it!

Urijah- You are the man.

I agree 100% that Brown is a worthy fighter. Mike is a BIG 55 er and cuts alot of weight to get there. The only advantage he has comes into this fight is SIZE. Thats it. Urijah's speed and agility will more then over compensate for Browns size. Jeff Curran made it to the Second round with Faber. I see this fight going 2 maybe three rounds........Urijah does not have to cut much weight at all therefore giving him the strength and speed he is known for. Cuttting alot of weight and having to IV back up 24 hours before you fight takes a toll on the body, no matter what kind of conditioning you've done. I am so ready to see this fight go down as well.

Big ups to Urijah and Team Alpha Male for getting Urijah where he needs to be for this fight, and prayers go out to Brown for a speedy recovery !!

You and JB have pretty much summed it up. I saw that fight between Curran and Brown and the fight between Curran and Faber. Sorry, I'm not good at the analytical breakdown like you and JB, but from what I've seen from both fighters, this fight is Fabers.

Agree with JB, Seth & Ej on a win for Urijah. Brown is a strong, tough cat, probably well adjusted to cutting weight due to the date set back. He'd better be, having never faced the likes of Urijah. Vastly improved strikes, turbo speed, awesome ground and pound will ultimately devasted Brown. Thinking this one is stopped early third round. PRAYING Urijah scores a first round KO!

Right on SETH. This fight can't come SOON ENOUGH. Sure has become a long wait for Urijah's faithful fans. Hope he can sweeten it with a first round LIGHTS OUT of Brown.

At least you guys will be there. I have to DVR the fight because of a mandatory class that night. I won't get home in time to watch it live. I'd call in sick, but seeing as it's a taekwondo class and all the instructors here are Faber fans too, they'd know I was lying to watch the fight!

I totally agree with everyone. Brown is a tough fighter and a good guy from what I've seen. I hope Urijah gets a KO, preferably in the first round. I've only watched one Brown fight and he's a pretty good fighter, but Urijah will pull through.

so it sounds like urijah got a free ride. We dont even need to worry about Browns takedowns. Urijah is a kickass wrestler. Looks like he is 1 up on Brown on just about everything

No doubt Urijah is gonna win. No doubt at all about that. I would love to see a KO too, but really I'm not going to be picky. Faber freakin' rocks. I agree with Seth, this wait blows! It's coming soon though. Can't wait!
