I had the pleasure of sitting with Urijah this afternoon on the flight from Baltimore to Las Vegas. I assume his fans already know this, but I thought I would take a moment to share with his fans that this is one of the nicest young men i have met in a long, long time. This is a guy that has his priority's straight and will have our whole familys support as his career progresses.
Good Luck on November 5th Urijah we will be routing for ya...

I had the pleasure of meeting him Saturday night for UWC. When I'm drunk I'm 100mph obnoxious. Faber was cool enough to put up with it as I took countless photos of him. Coolest guy in the world.

Good Job Bob. I was there as well. I am glad you had a good time. I was able to spend some time with Urijah and his training partner Matt. They both are cool guys. That is why people need to check this sport out and stop spending there hard earned money that goes to guys that make millions off of them and do not care for there fans. That felt good to get that off my chest.
You are some very lucky guys... Especially since you got the entire flight to hang out with him... Urijah is a celebrity, a role model, a sports figure, and an idol to many... Urijah's famousness is just beginning and I can't wait to see where he goes!

It is cool that you got to meet Urijah, but there are at least two people on this board that paid for those seats, that were not cheap. So the LOL is a little much. Just be happy that you got your pics.

You're absolutely right. I didn't mean to rub it in anyones faces, I was just surprised that security was so lack. I mean they had all the people in all the right places, they just didn't seem to care. Sorry again if I came off wrong.

for real!!!!!! That is awesome to get to sit next to him on a flight. Some people would pay a ton of money for that. I would anyway. Cool!!!

Dude, what you just said was awesome and shows that you are a good guy. Thank you for that honesty. I was actually in the main VIP area and when they finally noticed you were there, you step on my foot on the way out. You are right, they were lax. I do not know why. They had plenty of dudes. Again, its all good and your cool for what you said. I will keep you posted on when the next event is once it becomes official. By the way, go to my other thread to listen to Faber on Big O and Dukes. I did talk to him about the current board problem and I am in the mist of getting it worked out. He is a busy guy, but he said to tell you all thank you for the support and he will check in form time to time. He is one of the coolest dudes. I was able to train with him and Have dinner and he could not be more laid back.

Urijah was great with the fans,,,,even the hung-over ones at the VIP party. At the suggestion of Smirnoff, I found a new liver on e-bay before the event.
Big shout out to Smirnhoff......Def has the inside line on things,,,,So for all those who want to know the real deal on Urijah,,,,,check his blogs,,,,,,lol

I know it is and I will check up on it as soon as I can. I do not want to bug him this close to the fight, but i hope to have an answer soon.

smirnhoff-- Sorry one more time for stepping on your foot dude, haha. I was pretty drunk by the time I got in cageside. Also, I would appreciate it if you would keep me updated on Urijah, and some seminars that might go down in the DC area.
Was never really big fan of Faber, but seeing him as a guest commentator on DREAM, and then meeting him in person... instant fan. Such a cool ass dude.

I am just going to guess that because the way Urijah was being cool when you were drunk, it might have been way past the securities patience if they put themselves in Urijah shoes, they must have thought you were under his wing.:confused: How lucky!!!
