I'm seeing this new alternative doctor in Chicago and he put me on tons of vitamins.

He also wants me 100% off caffeine.

eat fresh unprocessed foods; lots of salads & veggies; eat fish and free-range poultry...cut out all pork & very rarely eat red meat...avoid sugars, hfcs & alcohol - and you won't need any vitamins
;)

1 probiotic, 1 CO Q 10 and one thing w/ sunflower oil of something.
so 9 a day

Bad effects of pork consumption
Pig's bodies contain many toxins, worms and latent diseases. Although some of these infestations are harbored in other animals, modern veterinarians say that pigs are far more predisposed to these illnesses than other animals. This could be because pigs like to scavenge and will eat any kind of food, including dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, excreta (including their own), garbage, and other pigs.
Pigs are biologically similar to humans, and their meat is said to taste similar to human flesh. Pigs have been used for dissection in biology labs due to the similarity between their organs and human organs. People with insulin-dependent diabetes usually inject themselves with pig insulin. If you pour Coke (yes, the soda) on a slab of pork, and wait a little while, you will see worms crawl out of it.
mmmm...Bacon
Are you freaking kidding me? That is the nastiest thing I have ever read. GROSS!!!
No more pork for me. Nastiness

I am throwing away the pork chops in my freezer and telling Cody he is never eating pork again. That was disgusting!!!! If he asks why, I'm letting him read your post. Thanks for the insight Kim.
I took it from a page I found on
"Why not to eat pork."
There was a lot more info than what I posted. GROSS
Guess what's in my fridge defrosting for the weekend? Chops and bacon. (I took it out of the freezer before I read the article.)
My kids LOVE bacon.
Thank God I don't eat it or I'd be going nuts. Bad enough I had to give up my coffee:(
Now I'll be eating veggies all weekend.

Do you think it's ALL pork that worms crawl out of? I'm thinking it wouldn't be ok for grocery stores to sell that kind of meat... hmmm.. ??? Nethertheless, DISGUSTING!

so whats the deal with no pork?
well kim gave a good synopsis, the worm thing isnt always 100% true alot depends on the thickness of the slab of meat (if you do it on a piece of sandwich ham it wont work lol), but pork meat contains A LOT of parasites
but that is just the tip of the iceberg, it is a very unhealthy & unclean meat....also, the body will reject pork once its out of your diet...if you havent had pork for a good amount of time (many months at least) and you take a single bite of it, your body will become violently ill
Isn't it amazing how our bodies adapt to what we put into them.
Totally gross.
If you're still not a believer, you could always look into the religious aspect. There's a ton of historical religious beliefs on pork consumption.

our vet told us not to ever feed pork to our dogs, ie. pork rind/ears/whatever,if dogs have a hard time digesting it, then i don't see why we wouldn't too, that was gross!

Im guessing you have to pour coke on the pork before you cook it. After cooking it doesn't it kill most of the bad things? Including the worms mmmmmmm.

I take sports performance vit packs from GNC. They give me some serious energy. Yes raw fruits and veggies should me a staple in your diet, and you should eat 1- 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight per day if you want to gain muscle mass. There s a supplement called SuperFood made by Biotest and it gives you twelve servings of fruits and veg s per serving!
It really is super food because it contains extracts of all the fruits and V's you need. It's the shit to get http://www.t-nation.com/productInfo.do?id=1900223
thanks fonzy. I'll check that site out.
As for the pork, I'm sure you're right. Cooking probably kills all the little ride-alongs.
 Grody

Yeah no problem.
So I've been exhausted for the past 2 days and have no appetite. This isn't at all like me.
Do you think it's the vitamins and if so, will I get used to them?

For F%^K Sake People!
All humans have some form of intestinal worms or parasites inside us. We can possibly have around 100 different kinds of parasites living inside our digestive tracts. We can become infected with parasite from everywhere. They are in the air we breath, the water we drink and the food we eat. We can also become infected by mosquito bites, or even through our nose and our skin. People can also be infected by parasites through certain types of sexual conduct. Children are also at risk of checking some form of parasites.
Pork in itself is as harmless to dogs as chicken, beef or any other meat. However, there is a slight risk of your dog being infected with trichinosis by eating pork. Trichinosis, also known as trichinellosis, is a worldwide, food borne disease caused by an intestinal roundworm, uncommon in the United States. Both humans and pets who eat raw or undercooked meat of infected animals can develop the disease. Undercooked or raw meat of infected animals contains the roundworm. The disease can lead to muscle soreness and pain together with swelling of the upper eyelids in mild cases but can lead to more severe symptoms.
If you would like to feed pork but want to take all necessary precautions, it is recommended that the pork be frozen for 3 weeks to kill the parasite. The most important precaution is to make sure that all fresh pork and pork products are properly cooked. Other raw and undercooked meat should also be avoided, especially meat from wild animals.
This is not new information.....any and all meat can contain parasites.

I am not a fan of pork...never eat it.
But I eat most of our wild meat (moose, elk, deer, Bison) rare....and never had a problem.
My husband works on a fishing boat on the ocean in the summers, when filleting the larger Halibut..there are usually worms all through the meat...
bleh!
Natural or not...worms and parasites...they are just not appetizing! lol
Grossness for sure!
