View Full Version : Urijah workout/training DVD?
Hey girls
I was just doing yet ANOTHER boring DVD and thought what if Faber did one?
Nothing against Jackie, Jillian, Billy and Richard Simmons (had to throw him in there) but wouldn't you rather sweat it out w/ Urijah? I mean, you gotta put the work in, why not do it CK style?
He could do a bunch of drills; punches, kicks, jump ropes, push ups etc. Then add some nutrition and tips on building muscle etc. And he could use GOOD music. Not the general background porn tunes they usually use.
He could start out in sweats and a hoodie and then lose one item of clothing per level. So if you make it through to the end he's only wearing shorts:eek:

Seriously though, he's such an entrepreneur I can see him coming out with something like this. I'll bet he's a great instructor too. From a training standpoint, I would love to take one of his classes. But since I can't make it down to Sac, DVD would be the next best thing.

A friend of mine has a kid who went to one of his wresting camps and told me it was AWESOME.
I read he coached in college. He'd make a mint on a DVD.

My son wants to train with him or at Ultimate Fitness. I think when we go down to the fight (whenever that may be), I'm going to try and get Cody a pass to the gym for the week we are there and see what classes he can take. That's our summer vacation -- working out at UF -- Cody couldn't be happier. :) I had heard from one of the guys on the forum who works out there, that they have 2-week free passes (like most gyms). We'll see what happens.
wow, Kimberly, you're a cool Mom. I can't think of a better vacation for you guys. I hope it works out. you'll have to take mega pictures.
Maybe Cody can be one of the back-up guys in the DVD?
(of course, he wouldn't be required to strip:p)

I have a feeling you would do the same thing for your kid. You have a son also, right? I think Cody might not meet their height requirement. Most of TAM is pretty short -- Cody is 6'2".
6'2? WOW.
My son is only 2 and 1/2 yrs old. his Dad is only 5'5 and I am 5'7 so we'll see what we end up with.
Cody could still train, right? I mean, height shouldn't matter for training, right?
Good Lord. 6'2? I wonder if he's done growing? you must spend serious $ on groceries. LMAO

I was joking about the height requirement. I heard on a radio interview with Urijah that TAM was called the midget mafia. I thought that was hilarious. Actually, Ian Murphy is 6'1" and he's a part of TAM. :)

Look really hard at the next weigh in. You may be able to see the outline through his shorts. Esp if he wears those tightie tots some of the guys wear.
