That sucks. I hope he doesn't quit now. I know he took a beating in that fight, but all the more reason to get back in the ring/cage/octagon (whatever you want to call it).

Thanks for posting that Seth.

Don't get me wrong, I think that BJ is great. He has a lot of heart and is definitely a great fighter, but he basically laid down to GSP. The whole vaseline thing, yes,is wrong, but I do not think that it would have made much of a difference. Unfortunately, the fight might have been a huge blow to BJ's mindset (obviously), but I hope he fights through and sticks around for a while. TAM, if you read this, send him our love and tell him to keep fighting!

I hope BJ doesnt decide to quit b/c of that fight! He's one of my favorite fighters and I think that will really suck for mma if he decides to stop doing what he's so great at!

Thats lame that him losing one big fight makes him want to quit... how old is he anyway?

He's still young, 30, I think.

So all he has to do is drop down to the class where he is still the UFC World Champion and fight people more his size. Let us remember how disappointed we have looked and we didn't just get the crap beat out of us in front of a large audience and ppv.:p

:D

whatever, whether he put vaseline on every inch of his body wouldnt make a difference. BJ got dominated every round, when BJ is on his back trying to stay in the game, a little vaseline on GSP's shoulders and back wont make a difference

yeah he's still got the lightweight belt. 30 is young. that would be disappointing to see him quit, the way he whooped up on Sean Sherk.

You are absolutely right, BJ got dominated with or without the vaseline. But it's the principal of it. Doesn't show much integrity on GSP's part.
