This is Joey & Stephanie from Jacksnville, Florida.
We have been flipping through WEC because we are HUGE hockey fans. The first fight we ever saw that stopped us was Faber vs. Pulver, then we heard that they would be fighting after the NHL All-Star Game, we were looking forward to seeing the rematch.
We saw a replay of Faber vs. Brown for the Featherweight title and we watched it even though we knew he had lost that match.
Nice to have Faber on tape...
Anyways, we think Faber has something for Brown come rematch time and its our opinion that Brown vs. Faber II will probably go to a decision and that Faber made a mistake the first time.
We think that Faber is smart and will most likely watch tapes and give Brown a fight and again, win by decision.

Welcome to the site. I hope you continue to follow Urijah's career and maybe even make it out to see a fight live. But I have to disagree about the Faber/brown rematch. Urijah will take his head off in the early rounds. That one wont go to a decision. :D I can hardly wait to see that fight. Hopefully, it will be for the title. We will find out soon for sure.

JACKSONVILLE! I have two sisters there. maybe I'll see you 2 at a fight some day? :D
As for Faber vs Brown II...I think Urijah will get a full mount and beat Brown down till the ref calls it.
Bye Bye Mikey. Hello belt.

Urijah will come out pumped and ready to kill just like when the last fight against Pulver. If or when the fight happens it will be lucky to see the second round

I'd like to see a Faber-Brown remtach as much as anybody, but don't forget about Brown's bout with Leonard Garcia. There's a chance Urijah will be fighting Leonard for the title...he's no joke.

Great point! I'm actually a Leonard Garcia fan (we share the same first name!), but I wouldn't bet on this fight! I think Mike Brown is a more formidable opponent for Urijah...I don't think Mike Brown is going to give up the belt easily to Garcia. I know we all dislike Mike Brown simply due to the fact that he beat our boy. But Brown is a very under-rated fighter. Leonard Garcia is a pit bull, and the kid can take a pounding.
And whoever the victor is better be ready for Urijah!
I agree with Lucky. Brown is def under-rated. I'll be glued to the tube for that one.

I don't think Brown is going to give his belt up easily either. I'm actually really excited to see what's going to happen, because we all know what Brown is capable of, but if you've watched Garcia at all, then you know he can throw some bombs. I think Brown is definitely the stronger and more rounded fighter though, but anybody can make a mistake and pay for it. Either way Urijah will almost undoubtedly fight the winner of this one, but he'll probably have to fight the loser of this fight eventually too. The featherweight division just keeps getting more and more competitive. The WEC just signed Rafael Assuncao as well and he's considered to be a top 10 featherweight. There's so many good fights that are going to happen in the near future.

or will Urijah have to put him to sleep? :D I'm just going to take a stab at it, but it makes sense to take it to the ground. Why risk a punch that comes in just right? Regardless if that was a lucky punch and/ or Urijah helped it out with his movement towards it, Brown will be doing his best to recreate those circumstances. I bet Brown will tap even faster than Jens did.:p
