You have to check this out. I saw this in ESPN magazine and thought to myself - this guy is an idiot. There was an article in ESPN magazine about Jeff Monson talking about how he is an anarchist - doesn't pay taxes, has tons of outstanding parking tickets etc. - well included in that article was a picture of him spray painting an anarchy symbol on the state capitol. After reading the article I was thinking - how dumb are you - now the IRS is going to come after you and you're going to be in serious legal trouble for spray painting on government property... well here is the article - he is being charged with a felony for his little spray paint incident - and the crime carries up to a 10 year prison sentence

i dont think its that crazy, the guy is taking a stance for something he believes in. maybe if more of us did that for the last 8 years, just maybe this country wouldn't be so far deep in the shithole we're in now

I guess if you can afford to do the jail time and pay the fine go for it. I just think there are other ways to stand for what you believe in. I can take a stand without a can of spray paint. I see what you mean though Felix!

I agree with Lisa. Nothing wrong with standing up for what you believe, but how he went about it was idiotic. It brought the wrong kind of attention to him and what he believes in.

As for the domestic violence charge, from what they printed he didn't lay a hand on her. Don't know if it escalated to that (hopefully not), but it just looks like he has anger management issues.
