Well, random post...but;
What does everyone do in the winter months????
We get alot of cold temperatures and snow...so...
Yesterday I went snowmobiling up in the mountains.., luv it!
Today, I just pulled the kids around behind my snowmobile on a tube all over the lake and did some sledding, and then I went for a X-country ski (love it).
We do alot of hockey (surprise surprise haha) and skating.
Snowboarding and skiing downhill of course, if I am lucky and get a warm enough weekend I will hook up the team of horses and do a sleigh ride.
and I spend alot more time indoors at the gym training. Summer is tons of outside time and less in the gym.
How about everyone else and where they live? :D

I don't know, but I think I might be coming to visit you! LOL! :) You're definitely having a lot more fun than I am! Between two jobs and being a full time single parent, I don't have time for fun. How sad...must work on changing that.

What do you hunt in the winter there? Not much open here. Unless you have a special draw for usually a female elk or doe. I had a goat draw for winter once. But we do shoot coyotes and wolves and cougars in the winter...that is all that is open here during the winter months. Rabbits maybe as well...not sure.

How far is it from Woodinville to where you live? When you were here, did you drive down? I've lived here for 10 years and I've never been to Canada.

Archery season starts in September runs until the middle of November. The monday before Thanksgiving bear season runs for 3 days. Then the Monday after thanksgiving is a two week firearms season for buck and doe. After that into winter I hunt doe until the end of january. Its a special regulation area where I live so you can go and get as many tags as you want. Or I could take my bow out for the late archery season and try for a buck if I didn't get one in any of the other seasons. Then until the middle of February its small game. Crow until about April only on weekends but I hardly go. Trout season starts in April and so does turkey season so its an endless cycle lol. Coyote is open year round but I haven't gotten one yet the few times i tried.
Elk only get hunted in September here and the season just started 7 years ago after not allowing any hunting for 100 years. They only give out 70 permits a year though. If you apply for a permit and don't get it you don't get your money back but that money goes to expand and maintain the herds. Its funny without hunters there would be less animals. You can't get some people to understand that sometimes.

Sup, im from Illinois. Although we dont have any mountains we also usually bring out the snowmobiles on snowy days. And pulling someone behind a snowmobile with a tube sounds like an awesome idea. What kind of tube did you use? Anyhow during the winter time me and my bros wrkout none stop at the gym to look good for spring break!But one thing we dont do is eat like crazy, cuz thats wat most ppl do when they are stuck insde the house in the winter,(Gotta keep wieght).

You can buy tubes here just for the snow. Usually a big tire inertube with a vinyl skin and handles.but plain tire tubes work as well. Tubes used for boating basically..would work the same! Lotsa fun!!:D

ok we are all going to visit jess because it sounds like a winter wonderland! I hate winter here, its cold but hardly snows. I'll go snowboarding but its usually icy. The waves are good but it gets dark so early that i can never make it after work and it takes like a half hour just to put on your wetsuit. Wow, that was a depressing post...sorry.

We used to get that stuff you called snow.. but that was many years ago. We do a lot of caving, camping, hiking in the smokies and sometimes climbing on a nice day. Our weather here is dramatic. One Day 15 and sunny, 35 and raining, 75 and nice... just varies throughout the week
