I'll be watching this fight too. I'm just glad I actually finished watching that last fight you posted and explained a few things to me. I now have a better understanding of boxing. :)

It was a decent fight. The stoppage was premature to me but I wasn't the ref seeing a guy get hit with about 15 unanswered shots in 3 seconds :D. Gonzales didn't seem stunned at all just let them fight the last :45. Surprised Gamboa got knocked down though(keep your hands up lol). Anytime Gamboa threw more then a jab in that fight it looked like he was about to ko him. Thats how powerful he looks. Those combos were like 8-10 shots compared to the normal 3-4 for most fighters. He has fast hands thats for sure.

Hey Felix when Gamboa would drop his hands Gonzales wouldn't do anything is that because he knew Gamboa was basically baiting him and couldn't match his speed and didn't want to exchange?

well in the later 3 rounds, gamboa was doing that because he was getting cocky, and i'm sure his shoulders were burning a lil bit from all the punches he was throwing :)

in the earlier rounds, he was doing it because that's a bad habit he's developed in the gym & hasn't gotten rid of yet - thats why he keeps getting caught with punches that sometimes knock him silly, lol
