Thankfully, I love eating veggies -- raw or steamed. But sometimes I dip my veggies in ranch dip. I make it with low fat sour cream and dry ranch dip mix, which is fat free. I don't know how healthy it is, but it's good. Also, I don't eat alot of dip. Just enough to taste. Don't know if that helps you out.
what helps me too, is to saute them. Just put some bell pepper and zuchinni and squash in a frying pan with some olive oil, or whatever other veggies you want!!! So delicious. I usually sprinkle them with a little salt and pepper too. Yum!

get some fresh green asparagus and fresh green beans. put them on a baking pan and coat them with a little olive oil and a tiiiiiny amount of sea salt. bake until they get a little wrinkled-looking. You can use broccoli too.
soooo good.

veggies on the bbq drizzled in balsamic vinegar, oregano and olive oil.
or green beans in the frying pan steamed with garlic/sliced almonds/chili pepper seeds
if you like sweet potatoes, you can slice them into chips or fries and bake them in the oven on a pizza stone, and make a low fat garlic/dill dipping sauce
i'm like ej, i love veggies no matter what way i could easily drop eating meat all the time and just eat veggies

I'm vegan for a million years, and I think it is the best thing ever.
I'll get one of my cookbooks later and pick out a few of my favorites.

All you guys won't care but the ladies might. Esp those of you w/ the baby bug;)
I ate that everyday for lunch when I was PG w/ Talon. I used poppy seed dressing instead and in very small amounts.
I only gained 15 pounds, no stretch marks AND he was a healthy 8 pound baby. (I did the same w/ savanah and gained only 17 pounds.)
I highly recommend spinach and strawberries.
SUPER food, literally.

LOL sweetcheeks:) you sure don't look like a heffer now.
I do really well being PG because it's like a challenge for me to stay in shape.
My doctor told me when I came in at 2 months PG:
"Take a long look at these abs because you'll never see them again after this baby stretches you out."
I was like HELL NO! So I watched my nutrition and kept teaching aerobics till I had my c section. The same w/ Talon.
It's a lot of hard work but it's worth it.
Anyways, sorry for the ramble. Spinach is the bomb.

Wow, that Dr. sounds kinda like a douche! lol I would never say that to my patient. Hey I had c-sections too! They suck balls, but the drugs are good!! ;) I think this convo belongs in the M(ma)ILFS section.... ha ha
(I'm adding a funny picture that relates to this convo in my album, lol check it out!)
yeah, I think you're right sweetcheeks. better to leave baby talk to the Milf thread.

I have been a vegetarian since I was about 9 years old but since then I have done many organic holistic approaches to my diet. For the last 4 years I have been phasing out the old vegetarian diet and been more on the live foods diet. I think it may benefit all of those who are looking to loose weight and gain up on muscles. I add protein powder and other supplements to my veggie mixes and fruit smoothies.

I do a lot of Lo-Mein for my veggies
soba noodles
carrots
green onion
sweet peas
bok choy
water chestnuts
and meat if you like or no meat. I usually use chicken or really lean beef
then a sauce using ginger, garlic, Light Sodium soy sauce, Fennel, a little Curry powder and a little honey
seriously healthy and balanced and really easy to make

wow, that sounds really good, all except the water chestnuts. I can't get myself to eat those. I think it's the texture.

What is fennel?
Draven

fennel can either be purchased as an herb or as a plant. It sort of tastes like licorice
