so then would Urijah fight the winner of that, or fight someone else?

I kinda like this setup...
I think we all knew a rematch wasn't gonna happen right away...I also like the Faber-Pulver rematch (although I think some of you don't).
After Garcia's last win, he deserves a shot...and let's be honest, as much as we hate to say it, Urijah did lose to Brown, so someone else should get to fight him first.
If all goes well, Urijah will beat Pulver (hopefully convincingly, not via decision, this time)...I'd like to see a submission, because Jens can give and receive some very strong punches.
Then Urijah can fight the winner of Garcia-Brown and rightfully retain his belt.
And if/when the Urijah vs. whoever fight happens...that will be HYOOOOOOOGE!!!!!!!
(and I hope WEC/Zuffa promotes it hyooooooooge!)

I agree - I really do think Garcia deserves the title-shot. I think we all want to see Urijah get his belt back asap, but with the string of fights Garcia has put together - there is no way the WEC could justify passing him up.
I assume Urijah will get the winner as long as he beats Jens - the only way that wouldn't happen is if Garcia wins and then the WEC decides Urijah should fight Brown before getting a shot at Garcia for the belt. I doubt they would do that - but I guess there is at least a possibility.

I know realistically this how things work, but still bummed he didn't get an automatic rematch (just me whining). But as long as I get to see Urijah fight, I'm good. Because, to me, anytime I get see him fight, it's exciting.

Jens is always dangerous. Plus, he's fighting for mma survival. Urijah is chomping at the bit to reclaim his belt. Looking for Urijah to end it round 1.
Poor Brownie. The one-shot wonder will be dismantled by Garcia.
Urijah vs. Garcia titlefight. Scary.

Agreed...Jens is very dangerous. Faber vs. Pulver 1 is the fight that got me into Urijah, and since then, I've seen a bunch of Pulver's older fights, and he is just one tough M-F'er!

I see a good fight...Brown is very strong, he's defending a belt...but Leonard Garcia is just an animal.
Urijahvs. Garcia titlefight. Scary.
Scary indeed...Urijah's technical/dynamic fighting vs. Garcia's brute force.

Urijah, fearless and super-prepared. Leonard, pure badass. Career fight for each maybe.
I can't wait to see Faber in the octagon again. No one compares to him. He is destinct in his style. Love watching him fight.
As much as I like Pulver too, can't wait to see Faber with the W!!!
Go Faber!!!
