Hey, seriously who all is going to fight in Jan? we (kmem57 and I) were contemplating on going but I seriously wouldnt know the first thing to do, be alot easier if some of you were there?:confused:

Don't get floor seats, unless you are in the 1st 8 rows or something!! Sounds good to be on the floor, but you can't see shit sitting 13 rows or more back!!!You get a better view in the riser seats---& they are cheaper (the 1st few rows in the section, the better)!

For any of you that are going and you don't know SD very well, check out Pacific Beach or PB as they call it. Also the Gas-lamp area. They're both definitely weekend hot-spots.

i go to san diego all the time to surf, i have family out there. Nothing to be too worried about, it's not as bad as people say it is but there are areas that you don't want to be walking around alone in ya know.

I was actually just in San Diego for business and it was definitely not warm, definitely not typical San Diego weather, but I will be back there in a couple weeks and give you an update.

I am sure at the end of January it will get better, but it seems like a lot of storms are sweeping the west coast and San Diego is feeling just a little bit of it.

I was in the downtown area drinking and it's not bad. Frankly, I wouldn't have been scared to be walking around by myself and I basically am the size of a child. : ) I don't want you to necessarily post where you'll be staying, but I can give you a couple of ideas of places to go.

Well, when I was there, my friend and I went over to the Marriott for a happy hour. There, they have a bar on ground level called Latitude, but they have a rooftop bar called Altitude, which I think you should check out unless you're afraid of heights. There is a beautiful view. I must say though, you have to be careful with Vodka tonics if you get them there, it's a lot of vodka with a splash of tonic.

Other than that, we weren't in Downtown too much, because she is in PB so we were out there. Horton Plaza has some shopping if you are looking for shopping.
