This looks interesting.
Josh Koscheck (11-3-0) coming off his loss to Alves, faces Yoshiyuki Yoshida (10-2-0), with a streak of nine wins. It's Yoshida's heavy-handed standup against Koscheck's strong ground game.
Looking for a Yoshida victory. What do you folks think?
No clue but I'll be sure to watch!! Thanks for the heads up on that.

I'm going to agree with you on this one Rattle. Yoshida by TKO.
i dont like koscheck plain and simple. Alvez win was probably one of the highlights of my life. 1. he looks goofy 2. before he first got his ass kicked, he didnt train while in the ufc. and although he does have quite a bit of skill, and a tough chin, he still gets under my skin!
so... Go Yoshida!

I'm with you on that Tap. Call me shallow but Season 1 of Ultimate Fighter poisoned any respect I might have had for either Koscheck or Bobby Southworth.

I have to agree RB, not a Koscheck fan either due to the same reasons. I'm going with Yoshida.

Here's the whole line up:
Josh Koscheck (No. 4 WW) vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida
Mike Swick vs. Jonathan Goulet
Steve Cantwell vs. Razak Al-Hussan
Nate Loughran vs. Tim Credeur
Jim Miller vs. Matt Wiman
Luigi Fioravanti vs. Brodie Farber
Steve Bruno vs. Johnny Rees
Ben Saunders vs. Brandon Wolff
Dale Hartt vs. Corey Hill
Eddie Sanchez vs. Justin McCully
I don't think too many people like Josh Koscheck...he ran his mouth way too much, and turned off alot of fans. I wonder if this "Fight for the Troops" is a try at some redemption...if he turns it around...both wih his attitude and in the ring, I might become a fan of his again.
His last fight was a loss to Thiago Alves, and while it went the distance, I think Alves dominated that fight.
However, I wouldn't count Koscheck out of any fight. I see many people rooting against him simply because they don't like him, but he is considered one of the sport’s premier wrestlers. Keep in mind his last two fights, both losses, were to GSP (who he went the distance with) and a short-notice fight against Alves (also went the full 3 rounds).
HOWEVER...this looks like it's going to be a great fight (for both fighters)...and I would definitely lean towards Yoshida.

Koscheck probably won't win any popularity contest...or a fight against Yoshida.
fights about to start but I gotta go with koscheck do to being from about 10 miles from where I live and where some of my family lives

Haha...go Kos! I think he is naturally talented and keeps improving! Glad about his domination tonight!
Don't forget that reality shows twist things and lead you to believe things that make the showmore exciting. They insinuate alot of shit...I am not saying he was an angel on the show....or that he's not cocky....I just think he has natural talent....I like Josh. ;)

I agree with you Jess about the 'reality show' hype. Won't watch it after that fiasco of UF Season 1. Still, do hope Chris Leben can get his act together and someday meets good old Josh in the cage.
