You can tell this young fighter trains with Urijah with his aggresive winning style. I could tell that Urijah was proud and this kid used what he learned at Ultimate Fitness, because he has a wrestling background and he was hitting the other guy with good combinations and kicks, not even needing to go with his strength. I look forward to seeing him beat the crap out of his opponents.

It was great to see Urijah there, but I am disappointed the WEC didn't point out he was there until later. When Urijah came into the ring to get in the picture with his fighter, it was like an unevent. I don't know what I was expecting, but more than what I saw. Yeah, I know that chances are everybody else recognizes him on sight too, but I'm still pissed. :mad:

I looked at it as Urijah giving Joseph his time in the spotlight because last night it wasn't about Urijah, it was about Joseph.

Yeah that is the way I saw it too. He was just kind of hanging around in the background so Benavidez could enjoy his day and time in the spotlight. They did interview him while he was sitting in the crowd too. I'm pretty sure he said "hi Lisa" right before they got him on camera ;) ha ha!!! It was a great night of fights. Loved watching Joseph. He does have the same style as Urijah, he put on a great show. Great combinations too.

I agree with Ej and Lisa. Urijah always gives his team a shout out in all his interviews and you can just tell he wants them to have as much success as he does! I think Joseph is on the right track:)

They are all so respectful of each other I think that is why they are so successful and adored. (Parents raised them right shout out!)

I also thought I saw his lips say "Hi Lisa," before the sound was on, but I saw him say "Hi Lisa, call me"

I actually said, " I am disappointed the WEC didn't point out he was there until later." I also thought it was pure class how Urijah stayed in the background until the picture they took together, which I'll bet will be in Joseph's and Urijah's possession and I'll look for it when I can make it to the gym.

I thought Joseph's pride in where and with whom he trains was super cool. He didn't name drop, but we knew who he was talking about.

Jospeh's the man. I really can't wait to see him further his career and get in the cage again. He is really a great fighter. Such an exciting fight.
